The MUDA Guest House is a sustainable, multi-functional urban project combining urban project combining hospitality, public engagement, and environmental responsibility. Spanning 2,686 m² of rentable space, it features 44 accessible rooms, 1,500 m² of green terraces, and 2,000 m² of preserved vegetation to enhance biodiversity and reduce the urban heat island effect.
A 1,175 m² solar-harvesting terrace supports energy efficiency, while a 560 m² public plaza activates the frontage, fostering community interaction. Water-sensitive design strategies improve retention, reduce runoff, and promote passive cooling, making the project a model for sustainable and socially responsible urban development in Meghalaya.
